Independent analysis on history, geopolitics & technology

Fact-checking Policy

Insight Chronicles writes long-form analysis on governance, public infrastructure, geopolitics, and technology. Because these subjects involve real institutions, statistics, and policy outcomes, we hold ourselves to a specific verification process.

How we source claims

  • Statistics and factual claims are checked against primary sources — government publications, official statements, regulatory filings, or peer-reviewed research — wherever available.
  • Where a claim can't be independently verified, we say so explicitly in the article rather than presenting it as settled fact.
  • We distinguish analysis and opinion from reported fact. Our interpretation of "why" something happened is our own view, clearly framed as such.
  • Numbers that change over time (funding amounts, adoption figures, user counts) are dated to the source's publication date.

Corrections

If you spot an error — factual, a broken source link, or an outdated figure — email moonoriginblue@gmail.com with the article URL and what needs fixing. Material corrections are made to the published article with a visible note; minor corrections (typos, dead links) are fixed without a note.

Sponsored and affiliate content

Sponsored articles and affiliate links are held to the same factual standard as any other article and are clearly labeled. See our disclaimer for details on how we disclose these relationships.
